William Tenn

Overview:

  • Legal Name: Klass, Philip
  • Place of Birth: London, England, UK
  • Date of Birth: May 9, 1920
  • Date of Death: February 7, 2010

Notes:

Tenn accepted a tenured position in the mid-60's and has written very little fiction since. Philip J. Klass (1919 - ), former editor of Aviation Week and prominent anti-UFOlogist is a totally different person. Donald H. Tuck is partially responsible for the widespread confusion. He attributed Philip J. Klass's UFO's - Identified (published as by Philip Klass in 1968) to Tenn in the first volume of his otherwise reliable The Encyclopedia of Fantasy and Science Fiction (1968).
