Notes:

Michael Marano was born in 1964, the youngest of nine children. His interest in horror is,therefoe, self-evident. He began studying alchemy and Kabbalah while pursuing a degree in medieval history at Boston University. After an abortive (and mercifully brief) stab at academia, he held a number of positions, including college writing instructor, apartment building manager, rare book dealer, and punk rock DJ. As "Mad Prof, Mike," he reviews horror movies for the program "Movie Magazine," the magazine "Maximum Rock 'n' Roll," and the on-line publication "Dark Carnival On-line."
