Support AuthorWars.com

Why help Author Wars?

If you're reading this, chances are you're a fan of one of the numerous speculative fiction authors or books listed in our database, and so you have a pretty good idea of why we would want to run a project like Author Wars. Websites like this cost real money as well as time and human resources so if you would like to help support this great project please consider making a donation, whether it's $1 or $100 all contributions are greatly appreciated!

How can I donate?

The most convenient means of donating to Wizards.pro is through PayPal - it can be handled quickly online for only a small handling surcharge. Also, they accept various forms of payment including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, bank, debit, and even checks. If you choose to donate via credit card, PayPal will deduct a 3.2% surcharge from the total amount transferred. Please take this into account when you send in your donations.

Please send all PayPal donations to payments@wizards.pro or click here to go straight to the PayPal donation form »

Don't want to use PayPal to send money? You can also donate via Amazon.com »

Otherwise we'd recommend you send your donations to the following mailing address:

Danilo Stern-Sapad
c/o AuthorWars.com
2850 Middlefield Rd. # 205
Palo Alto, California 94306
United States

Please make all checks payable to Danilo Stern-Sapad. If you will be sending a donation from outside the United States of America, please remember that an international money order or check (cheque) payable to a United States or European Union bank would help immensely. (Redeeming a check from a foreign bank would require fees in excess of $30!) You can get an international money order at post offices in most countries around the world. Do not send cash, it will most probably be stolen (such are the times we live in).

How are donations spent?

All proceeds donated will be used specifically and only for the support of this site (i.e. AuthorWars.com). This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, fees for hosting, bandwidth overages, and for the domain name. If donations exceed the costs for the current year, any and all additional funds donated will be saved for the next year's expenses. They will not be used for any of the founder's (Danilo Stern-Sapad) personal expenses—Danilo develops this site for free in his spare time because he enjoys this stuff (believe it or not folks).

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Please note that any donations are likely not tax-deductible, either in the United States or other countries, because AuthorWars.com, Wizards.pro, and their owners are not registered as a non-profit organization. However, you should check with your tax advisor if you wish to obtain more information.
