Far into the future, an unknown writer on Angkor III has a one-night stand with a tough, ballsy woman. Unfortunately,it seems that she is in fact a General suffering the effects ofa Beletrin colors beam from an earlier space battle, and she suddenly expires in the writer's room. He is then forced to write a series of biographies concerning her heroic exploits.
