It turns out the continuation from page 121 is on page 123, from page 123 the story line continues on page 122, and finally page 122 continues on page 124. Perhaps whoever did the page layout was distracted by the nice sex scene on page 123. The story was re-typeset for the omnibus The Transformer Trilogy with the text being on pages 113 and 114 and continuing without the page flip-flops indicating it must have been a layout error.
