    • Catalog T634 taken from spine and back cover.
    • Price taken from back cover and publishers catalogue (unnumbered pages) after novel.
    • Copyright page has "This new Dover edition first published in 1960 is an unabridged and unaltered republication of the Edward Roth translation of the following books which appeared in various editions between 1878 and 1895."
    • Artwork is uncredited, but all the artwork is signed by Charles Laplante and Paul Philippoteaux. Charles Laplante seems to be an engraver, but since both artists have signed this book's artwork, so both are listed. Additional note - Philippoteaux was the original illustrator and is credited. Laplante was the engraver and was not credited.
    • There are almost fifty hand counted illustrations, the pages that they are printed on are not always, although some are, numbered. Most, but not all, are printed back-to-back.
    • The date of the illustrations is unknown. The illustrations were selected from French editions prior to 1900 found on this book's copyright page. Added note: the illustrations were first printed in 1877-11-16.
    • Stated that this is translated from the French by Edward Roth (1826-1911).
    • Part of the Space Novels by Jules Verne series by Dover Publications. The half-page title has "Space Novels" [over] "by Jules Verne" and the facing page to the title page repeats this, but the title page has the two titles. There is a separate title page for each of the two parts of the novel.
    • The publisher has treated this as an omnibus, reprinting the two parts as separate novels. As we (currently) treat the combination as a novel, these have not been separated in this entry.
    • The title given on the title page of the first part is "To the Sun?" [over] "A Journey Through Planetary Space". The title given on the title page of the second part is "Off on a Comet!" [over] "A Journey Through Planetary Space". This repeated sub-title suggests it was considered the title for the combined parts.
    • No cover art credit.
