- Copyright page states "First Edition: March 1993" above 10 – 1 number line, however this Amok Books edition is a re-issue of the St. Martin's Press edition but stickered on the back cover with a new ISBN, probably using remaindered stock. No date is provided in the publication or at the publisher's website for this new ISBN re-issue.
- Cover photo credited on copyright page.
- Some contents are untitled on the pages they appear and are ascribed either to no author, a real-world Slovenian political group or a fictional character from the TV series Wild Palms, while titles and the true authors are given in the Contents on page 3. For searchability purposes the Contents have therefore been used to determine untitled entries and authorship as stated.
- Contents page also states "All of Anton Kreutzer's metaphysical writings were written by Genesis P. Orridge", and they do not appear in the list of Contents. These are listed below as "Untitled" with an excerpt from the first line.
- Contents are interspersed with script excerpts from the TV series, written by Bruce Wagner, and panels from the Wild Palms comic written by Bruce Wagner and drawn by Julian Allen, that originally appeared in Details Magazine.
- Primary Verifier's copy has a specially prepared non-removable sticker for the top of the front cover designed to match the background photograph, which features a promotional quote about the book from William Gibson. A similar non-removable sticker is attached to the back cover and spine, which names the publisher/retailer as Amok Books in Los Angeles above a (now non-functioning) website address of www.wildpalmsreader.com, and an 'Amok' logo is also placed on the spine over St. Martin's Press. The new ISBN and barcode appears on the back cover sticker, different from the St. Martin's Press ISBN that appears on the copyright page and its matching barcode that appears on the inside front cover. All interior contents remain unchanged, as per the St. Martin's Press edition.
- Also priced $19.99 in Canada.
