As of 2020-05-28 Amazon.com provides "Look inside" (no title page) that include copyright page, Contents list (p3?), and much of the Introduction and first chapter. The introduction, p[4]-9, closes "Robert E. Bartholomew, Ph.D." over "Darwin Australia". Pages 11-16 do not contain an illustration.
Library of Congress (LCCN, below) confirms the mistaken illustrator credit as "Alvin-Correa [sic]", presumably from the title page, and as stated on the copyright page.
