First Paperback Printing with "Bantam Skylark edition/September 1980" as the second line in the Printing History just beneath the line for the First Hard Cover Edition. And with "0 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1" at the bottom of the copyright page. The interior art work is by Judith Gwyn Brown and is the same as in the First Hard Cover edition except that it is printed in a negative format (where black and white are switched). This is the only printing with this cover signed with the initials R over a C on the front cover. I have not been able to find who this R.C. artist was or is. The second printing cover was by Edward Gorey.
