  • Limitation page says: "The Mountain Cage was printed on Linweave linen text. There were twenty-six lettered presentation copies reserved for private distribution. Ninety-nine ordinary edition copies were handsewn into wrappers of Strathmore Grandee cover with moriki endpapers; these copies were slipped into printed envelopes of Talisman text. Seventy-five copies were handsewn into covers of canon-mi-tientes with endpapers of handmade misu tissue. These books were enclosed in a dust wrapper of paper handmade from rag and wool in India. The slipcases were handmade by Judi W. Conant of Guildhall, Vermont. These slipcased books were signed by both the writer Pamela Sargent and the artist Judy King-Rieniets." The verification copy was one of the 75 slipcased copies.
