    • Lady Charlotte Guest's Mabinogion was originally published in seven parts between 1838 and 1845. This 1849 edition reprints the parts recombined into three volumes, reproducing the original title pages. Volume III contains the second half of part V and parts VI and VII.
    • The four parts of the Mabinogi have headings which have not been entered as subtitles here, since they seem to be introductory text. "Pwyll" begins, "Lyma dechreu mabinogi." "Branwen" begins "Llyma yr eil geinc or mabinogi / Here is the second portion of the Mabinogi." "Manawyddan" begins, "Llyma y dryded geinc or mabinogi / Here is the third portion of the Mabinogi." "Math" begins, "Honn yw y bedwared geinc or mabinogi / This is the fourth portion of the Mabinogi."
    • Some of the Welsh story titles differ between the half-title page and the head of the story. Namely, "Breuddwyd Maxen Wledig" vs. "Llyma Vreidwyt Maxen Wledic" ("Here is the Dream of Maxen Wledig"); "Kyfranc Lludd a Llevelys" vs. "Llyma Gyfranc Llud a Lleuelis" ("Here Is the Story of Lludd and Llevelys"); "Hanes Taliesin" vs. "Hanes Taliessin o'r Mângofion".
    • Decorated with uncredited etchings.
    • Bilingual edition.
