Bleiler's Science-Fiction: The Early Years incorrectly lists this as issue 501 and also gives the title of the Enton story as "Frank Reade and His Steam Man of the Plains" by "Noname". Galactic Central has a cover for this issue that shows the title and author as Bleiler have them, but do not match the scan at NIU. It is from an 1945 reprint. Later issues of the Wide Awake Library have a list of back issues available. In many cases the listed back issues were originally published after the issue in which the ad appears. In this example, the June 27, 1883 issue lists back issues for sale that were originally published as late as 1890. The listing for this issue does list the story with the alternate title and author credit and it may be that the title was changed in reprints appearing after an unknown date.
