Notes: First American Edition. With a 1927 date on the copyright page, but no title page date. Written and illustrated by H. R. Millar. The book has 14 color plates (some double page) plus a page of photo illustration near the end. The title page also has a color illustration that matches the front of the jacket. The book also has black and white illustrations scattered throughout the book. The dust jacket is very basic with the image from the title page repeated on both the front and back of the jacket. No Price printed on the jacket, the flaps are blank. This copy has "Printed in U. S. A" on the copyright page and "PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" in the lower right of each color plate. Originally published in London by Humphrey Milford Oxford University Press. I am not sure if both editions were published at the same time or not.
