Notes: This edition is an almost exact photo reprint of the first English edition of 1896. The publisher on the title page is "Fredonia Books, Amsterdam, The Netherlands". The Copyright page is all new, with "Copyright © 2004 by Fredonia Books".
The title page gives the author after the 1896 edition as: "by "L. A. Smith" and the translator as: "Translated from the French of [sic!] Andre Laurie". This is corrected on the Copyright page. The pseudonym "Andre Laurie" is on the cover (the illustration was black and white, and now is blue-green) and it looks like taken from the interior of the original edition of 1896, with semi-transparent white stripes with (in the upper part) "The Crystal City/Under the Sea and (in the bottom part) "Andre Laurie" - the letters also in green-blue), and on the title and Copyright pages.
