No publication date as such, but ad at the back (pp [253]-[254]) shows Starblaze titles #1 (What Happened to Emily Goode After the Great Exhibition) thru #10 (Castaways in Time) as "available", with Takeoff! as #8, and Dominant Species, 1979 as #7. This same ad shows #11, Myth Conceptions, 1980, as "Coming Soon". According to Locus #233 (May 1980), "although the book has a 1979 copyright, it's an April 1980 release." Assumed first printing; no number line or printing statement. "The Best Policy" is not listed in the ToC; "Masters of the Metropolis" is listed as "Master of the Metropolis" (singular) The "Reviews in Verse" have been entered both as verse and as reviews, because they are verse, but they do also serve as reviews, and should link with the works they are based on. This double entry does NOT mean that the works appear twice in the collection. "Edited and Illustrated by Polly & Kelly Freas" (front cover); wraparound cover art is signed "Kelly Freas © '79" on the back cover. There is extensive interior art, apparently all by Kelly Freas.
