Title page transcript closes "First published in this edition 1903" over "Last reprinted 1948", but "1930" is correct; "1903" is Everyman's or Gutenberg's clerical error. Title page displays "RASSELAS—THE CASTLE OF OTRANTO—VATHEK" in a way that invites interpretation as a subtitle. This is volume 3 of Shorter Novels, introduction and notes by Henderson. This ebook contains a complete title page transcript but no other front or back material except the Contents list. It represents Everyman's page numbers in the right margin. In the Contents list only, all three fiction titles are fashioned with commas, no colons, and the Notes (print pages 279-306) are listed accurately as "Notes to Vathek". The heading of each Note contains linked "Page xxx.", such as "Page 195. Caliph".
