- While this is the second story in the "Combat Command" series the only indication of this on the publication is a very small "#2" inside a circle on the front cover. The page before the title page lists the previous Combat Command story and an upcoming one.
- While Mark Acres is credited for the RPG/story content on the front cover and title page he is not listed on the copyright page. It's assumed this is a "for hire" work done for Bill Fawcett & Associates who is the main copyright holder.
- The illustration credit is "Illustrations by Todd Cameron Hamilton, James Clouse." As most of the illustrations are not signed it is not known if they worked on any illustrations jointly or if each is a work by one of the artists. However, some of the illustrations are signed with a glyph that looks like a T with an H constructed using the lower leg of the T inside a polygon that could be a "C". It's assumed this is Todd Cameron Hamilton's glyph. These illustrations are in Sections 1, 28, 72, and 131 and also have a very distinct style compared to the remaining illustrations which are assumed to be James Clouse works.
- The pages are not numbered and instead the publication uses numbered sections. The introductions are on roman-numbered pages with the second introduction by Bill Fawcett running to page xvii. Page xix is "The Combat Charts" followed by four unnumbered pages of charts meaning the last chart is on page xxiii. Page xxiv is blank and unnumbered. Page "xxv" is not numbered but is "Standard Troop Values / Starship Troopers." The following page is an illustration and after that is Section 1 of the RPG. The RPG runs to Section 134 and following this are four unnumbered pages of illustrations. Amazon.com reports the publication at 192 pages. This seems accurate as the publication is about as thick as a standard 192 page paperback. Thus this is being reported as xxv+192.
