  • Notes:
    • Side-stapled.
    • A combined edition of SF Commentary #34 and The Journal of Omphalistic Epistemology #6 (part 2), functioning as a single shared publication, not a back-to-back publication.
    • Only SF Commentary 34 appears on the cover.
    • Confusingly, SF Commentary #34 gives the publication date as May 1973, but as The Journal of Omphalistic Epistemology #6 (part 2) it is dated February 1973. As a shared publication, for ISFDB purposes the date for SF Commentary has been selected as the publication date as this is the date correctly attached to the physical publication of the fanzine.
    • The entire fanzine is a series of 96 quotes (numbered 101–196, continuing the sequence from JOE #6) of varying length concerning the nature of science fiction, from a variety of authors and critics, selected and excerpted by John Foyster from cited essays and publications.
    • This issue ignores conventional page numbering, instead being numbered as a continuation from SF Commentary, #32 / The Journal of Omphalistic Epistemology, #6. Page 2 is numbered both "SFC 34/page 1" and "JOE 6/page 40a", page 3 is numbered "page 41", then onwards to "page 80" (physically page 42). Gillespie's short article appears on the subsequent unnumbered page 43.
    • This issue, as both SF Commentary and The Journal of Omphalistic Epistemology, has no cover price.
