- No artist on back cover. Copyright page says "Illustrations by Brian Clinton", but there are no illustrations inside the book, other than the map. The map, however, is the same as in #2 in the series from Puffin Australian, and in #2, the map is uncredited in this publication. The map is likely to be by Ian Irvine because he has maps credited in other titles (from a different publisher) or by Simon Irvine (sort of - refer #2 - [here]). Therefore, Brian Clinton has been taken to have done the illustration on the cover. (Further, though the front cover design is the same as #2, the artwork style seems a little different, thus unlikely to be the cover artist from #2.)
