A footnote on each of the title pages of the stories by Craig Spector and John Skipp indicate that the stories are "From Deadlines by John Skipp and Craig Spector". There is a novel titled Dead Lines, published shortly after this magazine's appearance, which is co-authored by the two. The novel contains several stories written by one of novel's characters, a writer. It's possible the two stories published here were individually written by the authors and included in the novel.
