From Editorial: "Unfortunately, this issue of MOON PHASES marks an end to its publication of Darkover fiction. Due to legal problems which I don't wish to go into here, Darkover fan fiction can no longer be written. --- I would very much like for MOON PHAES not to end. With this coal in mind, I intend for future issues of MOON PHAES to consist of articles, analyses, assorted rants and ramblings etc. about the Darkover universe, the novels, topics related to Darkover and/or fantasy/SF. I also welcome reviews of Darkover books, favorite stories in anthologies or in previously published fanzines. --- My understanding is that I will be allowed to reprint revised editions of some of the out-of-print back issues. --- Depending of the amount of material I receive, MOON PHASES will come out either once or twice a year." Future issues were thus planned, but never published; by private communication the editor Nina Boal has confirmed that the issue #15 was the last one published.
