Some portions of the Sallustius manuscript may have been lost before this copy was made (see the Bibliographic Notes for details). This copy was annotated by Zanobi da Strada. It remained at Monte Cassino until the middle of the 14th century, when it was taken to the Laurentian Library in Florence, Italy, where it remains.
