Laid in is a bookmark specific to the volume and a copy of a Canaveral Press letter dated October 28, 1963 to Camille Cazedessus, Jr. Vernell Coriell and Rev. H. H. Heins updating them on the plans by Canaveral Press concerning ERB books to be published. Color plates are on unnumbered pages. Pages given in the contents are the facing pages. Many of the color plates are fold-outs of two or three panels. Illustrations by Motoichiro Takebe are from the Japanese paperback edition published by Sogen-Suiri Books and in B&W. Rear endpapers are the same as the front endpapers.
