Notes: I own this book and the price came from the dust jacket flap. Although this title is listed in Bleiler78 it probably should not be. The book is a good atmospheric Mystery, but the Fantasy elements are rationalized at the end of the book. This is mentioned in Bleiler Supernatural. First American Edition with matching 1933 dates on the title page and the copyright page and with "Published June, 1933." on the copyright page with no later printings mentioned. The book was reprinted in July, August, and September, as I have seen a reprint marked as such.
