The order of the stories is different than actually printed in the book, and there is a story in the "Far From Home" part which is not in the book at all. It lists the title "The Machine That Hustled Pool"; this uncollected story was published in Nugget, February 1961, retitled "The Pool Hustlers" because Tevis had recently published his novel The Hustler.
