- Cover is similar in style to that of Book One (1999); in the new painting, the bronze head has one eye open, it's under water (near a coral reef) (instead of the rainforest) and the kingfisher has segued into a gold & blue sea horse.
- The contents of the original DD-U anthology are spread across Part One and Part Two, not in the original order. The Preface and Introduction are repeated.
- The story lengths were determined from the original one volumne tp. Points to note are:
- The text is fairly well spaced
- All stories start with a page (or two) with information about the author and an introduction to the story.
All stories themselves start on the next new page.
All stories are followed - on a new page - by an "Afterword" (by the author, except for the George Turner story). The Afterwords are up to 3 pages. (The Turner story has 2 Afterwords - one by his literary executor, Bruce Gillespie & one by his official biographer Judith Raphael Buckrich.)
The page numbers given here (& as listed in the TOC, in most cases) are that of the author information.
Note that same record applies for Book 1 - i.e. viewed as a 2 volume set. - All stories start with a page (or two) with information about the author and an introduction to the story.
