The list of printings ends with "16th printing -- December 1982" without a statement that this particular printing is the 17th. This printing can be identified by the price ($4.50) and the mention on the cover of Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand.
This is the first Bantam printing to incorporate the approximately 150 textual changes (for printing errors) found in all previous Bantam printings up through the 16th (which corrected 108 errors). There are still two errors: Page 414 "the while city" should be "the whole city" and Page 838, "Mrs. Arthor Richards" should be "Mrs. Arthur Richards".
