  • The first Bantam printing to incorporate the textual changes (for printing errors) first printed in the December 1977 Gregg Press edition. To that edition's 108 changes, about 40 more corrections were made. Because each page with errors had to be reset, about two dozen more errors were created. On page 414, two dropped lines of dialogue were intended to be inserted. Instead, three lines at the bottom of page 413 are repeated at the top of page 414. These errors were corrected in the December 1984 edition (17th printing).
