- There's a more expensive hardcover edition from the same publisher which splits the novel into two books. This release is a special edition using the same text as the hardcover version but a slightly smaller font and bigger print space in order to being able to publish the whole novel cheaper and in one book.

- Numbered pages 364-366 are explaining the idea of the "Kollektion Lasswitz" of the publisher and are advertising all publications of that collection.
- The cover artist is unknown, but the cover image is image #32 from the collection Fliegende Untertassen (engl. "Flying Saucers"), published by Oldenkott publishers aprox. 1955 (stated on copyright page). Additional info about the cover image from retro-futurismus.de (where the image can be seen as well): the collection was edited by Rolf Strehl and published in 1955, but the page also states that the illustrator is unknown.
