First printing as per copyright page, month from Locus1 According to Locus, collection of three linked sf stories in the "Sector General" series This edition differs from the Corgi 1980 edition which adds the story "The Spacebird". This is correct even if the copyright page states that "Part One of this book" (logically _Contagion_) "was originally published as _Spacebird_" in New Writings in SF 22 Edited by Ken Bulmer", which is false.
