"The ... medley ... is the same, with a few modifications, as was added by way of appendix to the limited Edinburgh edition of Mr. Stevenson's works." The facsimiles are reproductions of two manuscript poems and of twelve productions (booklets and broadsides) from the Davos press, written and engraved by Stevenson and printed, with one exception, by his stepson, Lloyd Osbourne, then a boy of twelve. cf. Prefatory note, signed: S.C. [i.e. Sidney Colvin].
    • Here are the contents as listed in William Francis Prideaux's Bibliography of the Works of Robert Louis Stevenson (1903); he states that it is exactly identical to the contents of the Appendix (Volume XXVIII) of the Edinburgh Edition, June 1898, except for containing several additional woodcuts and facsimile pages. Most likely, none of this is genre-relevant except the preface to The Master of Ballantrae.
