  • Notes: Acquisitions to a Collection of Fantastic Literature 1994-2001 - together with Additional Notes on Titles Covered in the First Two Volumes - and an Index to All Three Volumes. With "First edition, 2002" on the copyright page. No mention of a limitation in the book, although it has been speculated that George had 500 copies of each volume printed. I bought this volume years ago, maybe from L. W. Currey, to go with my Volume One and Two and I have no idea what I paid him for the book much less what price George set for the volume. The book is bound in Black cloth with gold stamping to the spine, just like Volume One and Two. The dust jacket is a solid green with black printing to the front panel and the spine. The rear panel and the flaps are blank. No mention of ISBN or price in or on the book. This volumee has just "Privately Printed' on the title page with not mention of "Ferret" on the title page or copyright page, although George's Upper Tooting address is still at the bottom of the copyright page. A set that no collector of older Fantasy Literature can afford to be without. The book seller that is selling off George's collection mentioned in a recent listing that they have multiple sets of the three volumes of Spectrum, as the books never sold out. Chalker and Owings lists the price of this volume at £90 and they mention that 500 copies were printed.
