Dick wrote an extra 30,000 words for the first book publication of "The Unteleported Man", but these were not used. A revised edition was planned, but Dick died before it was published and his revisions were not included - the 1983 USA edition is the full 1966 text. In November 1983 the revised, retitled version was found and used for the British publication.
