Synopsis:

Walsingham Gribbs, a wealthy young batchelor, has been subjected to two experiments: the first, by his father, involves a rotating platform that affects Gribbs' equilibrium; the second, by a hatter looking for a suitor for his daughter, tries to fix Gribbs problem with a gyro-hat.
