Synopsis:
The Memoray Seller's shop in town has drawn young Jamie Whitlock, a third generation human settler on the distant agricultural planet of Attica, circuling the star 30 Hercules. He is drawn to the forbidden--memories of ancient, far distant Earth, the racial home he has never visited. Memory Seller Leonidas Euchidas Pantites greets him, warns him of the memory danger, then lowers the memorynet machine. And young Jamie, who thought he was newly in love, lives again the horror, the radiance, the tatalizing draw of Earth and the stars.
