- While the publication states the first printing is June 2002 there is a posibility that the book was published in 2005. The reasons for this are:
  1. ISFDB's record was dated 2005-09-09.
  2. Amazon dates the ISBN with "Reprint edition (October 25, 2005)."
  3. The tp edition has an ISBN-13 along with the ISBN-10. iBooks was not putting ISBN-13s on their publications in 2002.
  4. The iBooks paperback printing was first printed in June 2002 and it seems unlikely iBooks would issue simultaneous tp and pb editions.
  5. I got my tp copy in May-2007 and it was in brand new unread condition.
  6. Unfortunately, iBooks is out of business meaning I can't confirm this with them.
- The story ends on page 344 and is followed by an unnumbered page with "Notes and Acknowledgments", a blank page, and one more unnumbered page with an "About the Author."
