The back of the book has "Afterthoughts" by Niven, a fairly good bibliography entitled "The Worlds of Larry Niven", and an interesting "About the Cover" note by Rick Sternbach (in which he admits that the starmap on the cover would be no more than 0.001 inch across if it were to the same scale as the Milky Way painting, and that he has hidden "fourteen black holes, two Puppeteer-built General Products spacecraft hulls, egg-shaped Jinx, and ... there. The Ringworld, too, of course."
