Illustrator Wallace Wood is best known as a comic book artist. His work was first published around 1950. His art for EC Comics' science fiction titles in the 1950's is still revered by comics fans. He worked on and off for many publishers over the course of his career, often writing as well as drawing stories. His 1960's work on Daredevil (Marvel Comics) and Thunder Agents (Tower Comics) is also well-known and highly regarded.
