Notes:
A noted chemical researcher (he was a Fellow of the Chemical Society), Campbell began writing with technical papers and technical articles, and then began writing fiction. Served as Technical Editor to Authentic Science Fiction until he took over as editor in 1952. He resigned in 1956 to devote full time to his research.
