Gary Bowen is a left-handed, gay writer of Welch-Apache descent originally from Waco, Texas, now living in exile on the East Coast. He frequently at tends sf conventions where he can be recognized by his trademark white Stetson. He has published close to 200 works of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. He edits anthologies for the micropress Obelesk Books and for the independent publisher, Masquerade Books.
