David W. Hill lives in New York City and is currently working for a management consulting firm. He attended the City College of New York, studied under such writers as Joseph Heller and Jack Cady, received the college's highest literary honor, the De Jur Award, and graduated with a Masters Degree in creative writing. More recently stories of his received honorable mentions in Ellen Datlow's list of the year's best fantasy and horror. In 1997 he was awarded the Golden Bridge Award at the International Conference on Science Fiction held in Beijing.
