Graduating from the University of Philadelphia medical school c1900, Keller specialized in psychoanalysis. He was a prolific medical writer, with nearly 700 articles and a ten volume set of books to his credit. He did work during WWI on shell shock, and served active duty during WWII as Medical Professor at Harvard.
