Notes:

Started writing SF after winning a amateur short story contest for Thrilling Wonder Stories, with "The Broken Axiom". He wrote scenarios for DC Comics (The Green Lantern and Batman), wrote for radio (Charlie Chan and The Shadow), wrote for TV (Tom Corbet, Space Cadet), and was a book reviewer for Fantasy & Science Fiction. In the 1950's he took a position with the magazine Holiday, later becoming the senior literary editor of the magazine. During this period of time her wrote very little SF. Upon his return to the genre in the 70s, his work was uneven.
